For many years I was on display at the Natural History Museum in London and recently I've been enjoying a trip around the UK with Dippy on Tour: A Natural History Adventure. My final stop was at Norwich Cathedral!
Dippy went on an adventure, exploring the incredible natural world right on our doorsteps!
Dippy set off from the Natural History Museum in 2018 and during his tour visited Dorset County Museum, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Ulster Museum, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow, Great North Museum, in Newcastle upon Tyne, the National Museum Cardiff and the Number One Riverside in Rochdale. Norwich Cathedral was the final stop on Dippy’s journey and the only Cathedral!
More than 234,000 people came to visit Dippy during his 16-week stay in the Nave of Norwich Cathedral, and more than 6,000 people enjoyed the farewell light spectacular Dippy at Night in the last week of the exhibition.
