Arriving to see Dippy by car
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate parking for general visitors in the Cathedral Close. However, there are several car parks nearby, including St Helen’s Wharf and Rose Lane. There are also Park and Ride services which bring people into the city centre by bus from various locations on the outskirts of Norwich.

Our two Dino Stores are packed full of lots of great souvenirs for you to remember your visit, including official Dippy on Tour merchandise and other prehistoric-inspired delights!
At Norwich Cathedral we aim to ensure that all of our visitors receive a warm welcome and leave having had a positive experience. The Dippy exhibition has been designed to be fully wheelchair accessible and visitors have the same access to disabled parking badges and accessible toilets as general Cathedral visitors.
Please note that due to damage caused by flooding, both of of the Cathedral's lifts are currently out of order. We are working hard to ensure that the lifts are fixed as soon as possible and in the meantime will be offering an alternative accessible route through the Dippy exhibition.
